I've had it just over a month, used it a few times, how do I ensure I'm not going to be billed by toyota ?

Also, same this re sirrus, I don't use it, but I think the clock is ticking as well ?

    Thanks, Derek

For the SiriusXM, on a brand new truck you are on a 90 day introductory period.

Are you talking about navigation? When I read the title, I thought this thread was going to be about remapping (i.e. tuning the ECU).

You don't get billed for navigation. SiriusXM is your choice. When the trial runs out, if you still want it you have to voluntarily pay for a subscription. They aren't going to autobill you if you choose to let the free trial lapse.

Too poor to buy anything now
^^^This, and I think if you don't renew the Toyota subscription you'll just lose the ability to remote start your 4R.
There is a new cloud based navigation system that will probably be on the 2025 models that you have to subscribe after one year or your navigation quits functioning. My wife's 2023 Crown now costs me $15/month to keep the navigation.

Note: we peasants with non-Pros/Limiteds never had remote start from day 1.

Also, Waze is better than any car navigation system. I'd never pay a navigation subscription.

Thanks Y'all, I bought it used with 8K miles on it, good to know I won't be billed ( and I never gave Toyota any CC info).

I don't think I have or would use auto start, it's Oregon and it doesn't get that cold here, plus she's garaged whenever I'm at home.

This is an all veteran post as of now. SF peeps !
